Veterans Day Reflection from The Chair of the Board of ADAMS – Rizwan Jaka

As Chair of the Board of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), I remind us all that we stand together as our Nation Commemorates Veterans Day this Wednesday, November 11, 2015. We remember all those Heroes that have served and are serving the United States of America and Defending Freedom. We thank them and their families for the dedication and sacrifice.

Recently, two members of our community have joined the US Military and we appreciate their dedication and beginning their journey of leadership, service, and sacrifice for America.
Today, American Muslim Veterans & Community Members will be gathering at 3pm ET at The World War II Memorial in DC to Honor Our Veterans. This event is sponsored by Masjid Muhammad, The Nation’s Mosque, Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), and The All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS)

We are proud of our Four New ADAMS Eagle Scouts that had their Eagle Court of Honor on Oct 26, 2015.
One of them, Ahmed Adam did a project to help Children of Military Families through Operation Homefront.

Special Thanks to all those that have served in the U.S. Department of Defense or that have had family members that have served in the U.S. Department of Defense. We thank them and their families for the sacrifice, dedication, and service to our Country.
