ADAMS Green Team is glad to announce that with your cooperation and participation in last year’s Green Ramadan initiative, ADAMS community saved 125,000 disposable plastic water bottles from ending up in a landfill.
This Ramadan again, we’d like to remind you to bring your own reusable water bottles along with your wudhu. You can also buy a reusable bottle at ADAMS Sterling for $3 or $10, depending on the bottle. Bottles are sold between Maghrib and Isha prayer.
You can now have your metal water bottle personalized with your name! Please stop by the Green Team table at Sterling branch to place your order (cost is $15 including the bottle).
For your convenience, we have installed water fountains with water bottle fillers on every floor of the ADAMS Sterling building to make it easier for you to fill your water bottles.
Furthermore, this year we are also eliminating the use of Styrofoam food boxes and cups with more environmental friendly material Insha’Allah.
