Dear Community, On Friday Dec 11, 2015, Governor Martin O’Malley(Democratic Presidential Candidate) visited the ADAMS Sterling Mosque to address the congregation and hold a press conference. ADAMS Imam Mohamed Magid joined Gov. O’Malley to strongly condemn violent extremism, and the deplorable anti-Muslim rhetoric and rising Islamophobia that threaten American values and traditions of religious freedom
Governor Martin O’Malley said ” We are a nation of immigrants and refugees. Diversity is our strength. E Pluribus Unum. Those are the American values I believe in, and the ones that will continue to be my moral compass. We are all in this together. We will always be stronger as one nation, indivisible, with liberty – RELIGIOUS liberty – and justice for all.”
