ADAMS extends its deepest sympathy to the Jewish Community after the horrific
domestic hate crime terrorist attack in Poway, CA that killed 1 person and injured 3 more.
We are extremely saddened by the shooting at the Poway, CA Chabad Synagogue. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, the entire Jewish community,
and all law enforcement in this difficult time. We understand this crime is still under investigation,
and being examined by the FBI as a potential hate crime.We urge a swift and effective investigation into this horrific crime.
ADAMS has a very special relationship with the Jewish Community in many Interfaith Coalitions
and Synagogues working together for social justice, civil rights, safe communities, and helping those in need.In addition, 2 of our 11 branches/satellites are hosted at Synagogues – Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation and Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation.

ADAMS condemns hate crimes, political violence, and terrorism of any type, and we join the Jewish community, and all law enforcement, in sending a clear message that any such intimidation or hate crimes against any communities in the United States can never be tolerated.
ADAMS encourages all Americans to be extra vigilant in our common struggle against behavior that threatens the very core of our nation’s principles, and to cooperate with law enforcement Agencies to bring justice to the victims of these attacks. Our Center continues to work with local law enforcement and national Agencies like the FBI Washington Field Office to assure the safety of all communities and prevent all hate crimes, while building enduring relationships based on respect and cooperation
