Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and their families of Syrian civilians whose lives have been devastated in the continuing humanitarian crisis that has affected them for over 5 years. The ongoing horror and crimes against humanity committed by the Brutal Assad regime & their supporters has surpassed any other crime since World War Two. They have committed another heinous crime this past week. An air strike filled with chemical gas killed more than 75 civilians, including 3 children and women. Three years ago a similar crime killed 1400 civilians in one day. Recently the photos of more than 11,000 Syrians killed in such a savage way, has shocked the world. We welcome The United States response against the Assad Regime and to prevent chemical weapon attacks. We encourage all responses to be considerate to protect innocent civilian lives.
We join the world in our prayers for the 400,000+ Syrians that have been killed in this horrific conflict, for the 4.8 million+ refugees, and the 13.5 million people in urgent need of humanitarian assistance inside Syria. We hope and pray that the parties adhere to the ceasefire and truce that was reached and a resolution to the crisis is near.
