ADAMS Deplores the Racist Graffiti Attack in Ashburn and Calls for Unity

ADAMS deplores the recent racist vandalism to the historic Ashburn Colored School here in Loudoun County, Virginia and calls for Unity. The Historic Ashburn Colored School operated from 1892 until the late 1950s and was undergoing a rehabilitation project.

This is simply a message of hate that does not belong in Loudoun County in 2016, and we are appreciative that so many Loudouners, Virginians, Government Officials, and Law Enforcement have vigorously condemned this vandalism in the strongest possible terms.

In an effort to counter this act of hate and promote unity, ADAMS will make a donation to the restoration project and encourages its members and people of all faiths to donate and support the restoration and help the school. More information on the rehab can be found at:

ADAMS also encourages you to join on Sunday, October 9th at 8:00 AM for an Interfaith Service and then help with the on-site NAACP work day currently scheduled for Sunday, October 9th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM to remove the swastikas and slurs graffitied onto the Old School.

ADAMS calls for the Law Enforcement to conduct a swift and thorough investigation into this act of hate and bullying.
