Prayers, Extra Security and Precautions in the Wake of the Terrorist Hate Attack on Two New Zealand Mosques

 

Due to Horrific Hate Crime Terrorist Attack in New Zealand(Statement 1 Link) and The continued increase in violence, hate crimes, intimidation, and vandalism both to human life and property. Please make Dua for the victims and the families of the victims.From Allah(SWT) We Come to Allah(SWT) We Return.

 

Law enforcement is providing extra patrols at Mosques and we are taking extra security precautions.

 

We at ADAMS we continue to take the necessary measures to safeguard our community, users and visitors, we wanted to remind everyone to be aware of their surroundings.  Please continue to be observant and protect yourself and your loved ones.  If you do observe suspicious activity or are personally effected by an incident please contact law enforcement immediately.

We appreciate all the support and solidarity of Many Faith Leaders, Government Officials, and Law Enforcement.  ADAMS will be holding a Vigil this evening Fri Mar 15th 7pm-9pm at ADAMS Sterling – 46903 Sugarland Rd, Sterling, VA 20164. Faith Leaders and Government Officials will be giving remarks.

This announcement is not to discourage you from doing your daily routines but a simple reminder to be aware as you are out and about.

 

We ask Allah Almighty to protect our community and guide people to peaceful means in dealing with difficulties. We are reminded as Muslims to always put our trust in Allah, follow the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet of faith, patience, dua, and forgiveness, and be wise in conducting our activities
